V6 vs V8 radiator
Thinking of all the details of my conversion... Did they use the stock 28" radiator on the 4.3 trucks? If so, its staying in place... No need to add the weight of the 34"er if I don't need to. Also keeping small electric fans, not going with the 05+ fans on this one.

sorry for the old bumper. but I have a 4.3l 34" radiator going in my 2000 with the 6.0l. the 4.3l radiator doesn't have a nipple to connect the tb coolant hose that v8s have. where can I T this in? If I T it in to the upper radiator hose would that be ok? the coolant hose is quite a bit smaller than the upper radiator hose so I'd have trouble finding the correct fitting. thanks

Courtesy of your signature I just read CAGracing's thread. Are you sure you meant that every ounce counts?

Hahaha!!!!!! I literally laughed out loud at that.
I still have the truck but right now it just gets driven with the stock drivetrain and a slightly modded trans. It stays hitched to the boat actually. I have most of the drivetrain for the build still, it's just on hold until life settles down a bit, new kids etc...
