Default vette motor swap?

looking to do a motor swap , going to take a motor out of a 94 vette, and put in a singlecab chevy/gmc. wondering if anyone has done this yet and if anyone has ran into any truck far as motor mounts or tranny mounts?

In this case you'd be taking a step backwards in engine technology.

I would stick with ls motors, my 5.3 makes more power than my lt1 camaro did. the lt1 has alot of torque but the aftermarket is smaller and can be expensive. i would look for a used 6.0

no its my buddy's car. he has a 94 vette and he's wanting to put the motor in a singlecab. cause of insurance and all being so dang high. we was going to find a 88-94 body with a blown motor and pull the vette motor out and put in the singlecab.

If you are going into a obs truck, it is straight forward. Maybe a few wiring issues, but maybe none at all...

You need to adapt the fuel lines to the LT1 & swap out the intank pump. Route the steam line to the rad & change to the smaller hoses. Use all the acc , mts, & brackets from the LT1 as well as the engine harness & computer and a reprogram. don't forget to tune out the VATS. Contact Street & Performance, they will send you a free video on LT1's.
