Track was HORRIBLE! In the 2nd one, you can hear me get out of it off the line and tag the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift (sounds like I let off on the shift). The rev limiter is set at 6900 rpms.

This was with the 90 lb speaker box and tailgate up. Only difference from street trim is the ET Streets.

Something I found interesting was that when I capped the cutouts back up, the time didn't change, but I did get a MUCH better launch from that one run, so that may contribute to a comparable time compared to open cut outs.

Oh yea ... the cut outs were open too.

Thanks!

Forgot to say also ... my best time of the night was a 12.70 @ 109 with a 2.02 60'. My previous best trap speed was 107.57. Only thing changed was a little tuning work.

My buddy in the white truck next to me ran a 16 flat in his ~stock 4.8. Only thing that changed was me tuning it, him running the cheapest gas he can find! His previous best was a 16.6, he was getting a little wheel spin too.

Some advice, do not run at midnight maddness any more if you want decent times. All the front wheel drive street cars tear the line up and the guys save there traction compound since its mainly 15 second cars and slower, earlier in the night the track was very good and saturday it was awesome. The Elky got a 1.649 60'a nd 2 1.65's on a 275 50 15 Mickey Thompson drag radials at 4000 # all the weight on the nose with a 502 under the hood. It felt great that car just dead hooked. I know on a saturday afternoon you could get some good traction. Let me know when your coming back out.

29*! That's with 317 heads though.

Erik .. I just went to make some runs and pimp a new sticker on the back of the window, basically, advertising. Once I get the vib's worked out better, I'm gonna plan a trip to Lufkin and shoot for 11's. My bud in the white truck's prolly gonna follow me with the trailer just in case.

Check your PM's.
