Why not just port the heads that are on there?? you can make tons of power off of porting the stock heads... There are aluminum fastburns out there but for the price you could get the etec 200's for the same and they have bigger ports... I would just port the stock heads though, you can make as much power if not more than the etec's by porting the stockers

I agree, the stock fastburns were very good. There are tons of engine builders that can get excellent results with them.
If your handle is accurate, you may want to look at the Edlebrock's. Turbos love flow and you would see awesome results using the e-techs, and the aluminum would help reduce detonation.

i had ported heads on it but i just sold them to get aluminum just to help with the detonation. the guy at eldelbrock said if i put 208 they will flow alot better than the 202 will. does any one know if their is another company that builds them in aluminum for the vortec. i have looked at world, afr, pro action and a few more on the internet. but no one makes them to fit the vortec it kind of sucks.
thanks

I if you go for the E-Tech you probably better off with the 170 over the 200 they have better port velocity and make more low end torque. Evey test I've seen the 170 out power the 200 until the very top of the rpm range and is unusable.

Forget those and buy the new Bowtie Vortec heads, they have like a 76cc exh. runner and like a 203cc intake runner.
