Default Vortec max on ccsb 4x4 turbo or radix?

My debate is I have a 100k mile waranty, and if I have any problems with it an sts turbo would be a lot easier to take off than a radix. But for the money is a radix a much better buy? I am new to this site and have read some of the threads but def not all. I go to glamis a lot and plan on lifting my truck on 35's. The general consenus I get is my 4L70e tranny is junk according to this site, I cant afford a redo but are there any basic upgrades I can do to the trans to make it last?

If it's a mall wheeler with 35's and will never see mud get the STS turbo! If your actually going to drive it off road get the radix! I think the turbo would get filthy under a 4x4!

He is dead on. Get a shift kit and servo atleast to help out the trans. Honestly you might want to wait a bit and beef up the trans, 99% of people dont get away with a stock/lightly modded trans when putting a decent amount of hp through it and beating on it like you will if you take it offroad. With those big tires I think you will like the low end tq of the radix better.

I am a huge fan of the turbo over the blower, for the simple fact that it is easier for the motor to produce the power along with on the fly boost adjustments with a controller. On the other hand, I have seen the Radix system produce some crazy numbers. You still can't beat the sound of the turbo though.
