Exclamation VortecMax

Does anyone know what the little suspension button on the dash of a vortecmax actually does? I know it makes my truck ride a lot rougher but what does it really help? Is it safe to pull with it activated?

It is on the dash, to the right of the a/c control module, next to where the airbag shutoff key switch would be in some trucks. It has a pic of a tire going over a bumpy road or something of the sorts.

Could it be traction control? I wasn't aware of any electronic "sport" suspension option...

I ve seen a few with electronic front shocks, had a little solenoid on the top that turned something to change the damping, a 04 quadra steer was one, 4x4 z71.

I'm sure they are ok to tow with.

I don't know, I know when it is activated that my truck rides like a log wagon. I'll try and post a pic of the button tomorrow. Also, I noticed that all 4 shox have wires running to them and plugs on top. It's nothing that I've ever seen before.
