Default VR velocity stack?

I've been doing a lot of research for mods and found this (go to induction on the left, then scroll down to the end of the page):

http://www.tbyrne.com/truckcatalog.html

How can it give you 22 lb/ft of torque for $50 bucks? On a side note, there is a slight loss in HP, but would it still be worth it?

First off, did you notice any real gains, like as they say? And why are you selling yours?

Like I said, I noticed MPG and TQ improvements.

I was getting about 2 MPG a gallon more with the VR. Low to mid TQ seemed better. How much? I dont know. I didnt dyno to find out. SOTP meter says it worked.

Also, my engine is a stock 5.3, cat-back, e-fans, LS1-edit.

I wont be using it anymore as I am making changes to the throttle body.
