Weird!! Sparking From Plug Wire To Exhaust Manifold

Clean the entire boot off with alcohol. If there is a build up af crap, SOMETIMES it will conduct across but it is rare. I suspect a crappy boot.

Not that unusual of an occurence...old or defective insulation wil always result in that. They can also break down under load and not flash-over where you can see or hear it.

Well the wires are relatively new so I can't understand how the insulation could be breaking down unless it was defective to begin with. I crimped the connector down a little tighter inside the boot so it is making better contact with the plug. It seems to have solved the problem and my SES light is off now. Plus BlownChevy hooked me up with some replacement wires to swap if I have a problem in the future. BTW thanks man!
