Talking

383=stroked 5.7-yes
408=stroked 6.0-yes.
5.3l = 325 cubic inches.=lm7 i beleive.
lq4=6.0l=9-1 compression. 2500 and 3500 engine and in some bigger trucks. the lq9 is a 6.0l also. but it has 10-1 compression. it is gm's high output 6.0=ss's.-vho's and escalade ext's.

A 383 is a 350 with a 400 crank.. The 408... not too sure.
LT1 was in the 4th gen camaro and C4 corvette
LQ4 is the standard 6.0 like the HD trucks carry
LQ9 is the 6.0 in the SS and VHO models
LM7 is the 5.3 the T if im right is the letter in the vin for the 5.3

Some other Combinations of these can yield the same results, like give up some bore but replace it with stroke.
A 402 is a 6.0L LS1 block with 4.000" bore x 4.000" stroke
A 370 is a 6.0L LS1 block with 4.030" bore x 3.622" stroke
A 409 is a 6.0L LS1 block with 4.030" bore x 4.000" stroke
A 414 is a 6.0L LS1 block with 4.060" bore x 4.000" stroke
A 422 is a 6.0L LS1 block with 4.030" bore x 4.125" stroke
Does this help or confuse you?
