better start looking into 4.56 gears and a 4400 stall converter if you want to run low 12s in a NA 5.3... oh and a healthy heads and cam... might want to look into a trans brake as well..
just listen to everbody and get a cam only 6.0 that will be alot more street friendly.

maybe n/a isnt the way to go then..looks like turbo is the only way ill get there. good thing is, most parts i put on the this engine can be tookin off and used on the 6.0. so dump money in parts isnt a huge deal..id just like to have some fun with it while i build a 6.0 up.

I ran 12.0 in about 80 degree weather that night was really humid shity weather to run in.... radical setup maybe....236/236 61x/61x, custom trick flow 215 heads, lsxr intake, stall was actually not that big but would launch of the trans break with the stall flashing at around 4500, 4.56s, and 7pinion billet tranny, this was done full weight only reduction was bogarts other than that everything was in the truck...

If u doing some head work and dont mind a decent sized stall dont see how u wont et a mid 12 depending on what u want to do maybe low 12

id like to keep my truck road worthy, it wont be a daily driver, but i want to drive it around some..how do the 4.56's do on the street? does the top speed suck? how would they do with a 3600 stall?
