In a half ton?

It used to be the RCSB 5.3, and now with it being offered with the 6 speed transmission its going to be even faster. What are the newer 5.3 putting down 2wd wise?

Or now you can get a ex cab Vortec Max with the 6.2 with 6 speed and 3.73 gears.

Would the lighter truck win or would that 6.2 stomp all over the RCSB?

The ext cab 6.2/6l80 would own a rc 5.3, and pretty much any other stock truck.

What do you think theyll run? Do you think they can outrun a Ram RT?

With typical bolt ons the ex cab 6.2 Vararam, ARH longtubes exhaust and tune. Do you think it will run mid 13's? or even low 13's? Maybe even swap out the converter for a 3200 stall.

A tune, intake, LT headers I bet will get you mid 13's, a converter will be even faster.

Man that truck runs really good for being a 4wd and stock:

Just think the ex cab will without the 4wd will probley be 500 lbs lighter.


As you can tell im shopping for a new truck and looking to trade at the end of this year.

That ZR2 is pretty sweet lookin. Seen in person. So far it's a concept to gauge interest of public. One of the nicest show/ concept trucks I've ever seen.
