Chevy needs to do something to run with the SRT and SVT Lighting. They have the motor combos to blow those trucks off the track but just wont put one together! The 405hp 6.2 in a RCSB Would be a monster.

Yes, that's why I like it. If I ever get my pics, I'll post em up.

6.2 EC available sine 2010, does it force u to get a uplevel Siverado like how it's usu. reserved for the Denali or a Caddy trim? I should say what is lowest trim level Silvy EC that gets a person in 1?

JoeGibbSilverado, I highly doubt GM would make an ss version. At least non like most hard-core truck guys would want i.e. RCSB SS. They didn't do it before, why start now?!?

I agree 100%. My comment to JoeGibb Silverado just above your quote echoes my sentiments.

I know what you mean. Seriously its so sad you can take a 5.3 with a few bolt ons and mods and blow the SRT and SVT out of the water! Chevy has the motor combos to build a nasty SS but just wont do it! If dodge can put a 500hp V10 in a single cab then chevy can do a 6.2 in a single cab.

A 5.3 & some boltons can take out a SRT10 RC? How fast are the SRT10 Reg Cabs?
Cause I don't have those boltons that would allow me to do that, YET. This summer I'll have 3 or 4 decent bolt ons tho.

If I was buying a new truck and was just worried about speed Id buy an rcsb 4wd. Having 4wd on the street makes all the power you can make much more fun. You can always swap a 6.2 in but IMO isnt worth the price, for the price tag that motor carries you could build a nice forged motor with more power.

You can add bolt ons to the SVT and SRT aslo, which would rape a stock silverado. RCSB 5.3 with bolt ons against STOCK SRT would be even, not even close to blowing it out of the water.
