What female thread screws into fuel filter

'00 GMC fuel filter on the frame rail. I want to go from the filter to -6 . Can't find the size anywhere.
Any help is appreciated

Wouldn't you need a male thread to screw INTO the fuel filter?

BTW, I have no idea what thread pitch it is, sorry.
