I am running BFG G-Force Super Sport tires on my '95.
I tried a couple of other tire brands and these tires really work well. They are sticky in the rain and have a 400 tread wear rating.

Yes, normally the tread wear number coincides with the stickiness, which is why I am surprised. These tires stick good and have a high treadwear number. I had Yokohama AVS Sports prior. The treadwear number was lower and the Yokos didn't grip like these BFGs do.
