Default What to look for on a 2006 Yukon Denali?

I am considering a Yukon Denali that seems to be a decent deal. What are the things to look for on this body style? Common Issues?

Here are the details from the ad:

I am selling pretty Nice 2006 GMC Yukon Denali has ALOT of really nice features,
Cruise control, heated mirrors with integrated turn signals.
With a 6.0L 8 cylinder engine. towing capable. Brand tires Michelin 70% clean wheels stereo CD after market brand power sunroof, not rusted body clean free rust.

As well as all power and leather seating!
Has 84100 Miles on it, Clean title from Indiana and Drives great!

asking 12,800 make me a reasonable offer. I am rarely able to answer my phone so texting would be your best bet to get a hold of me.

I would say the single weakest link for us on this forum is the transmission... otherwise they are pretty solid. And if its not driven super aggressive chances are the trans will be fine. Check the fluid in the trans to see if if smells burnt. Other than that look for signs of regular maintenance.

It might have air assist shocks in the rear, make sure they still work and don't have rips in the bags.

I would also add that if the Z55 suspension is jacked you might as well do a delete. OEM shocks are crazy expensive and don't help all that much.

What breaks in the trans? Is it something that if it is good now, it can be replaced by something better or is it a rebuild it stronger kind of thing?

It's a 4L65E, a variant of the 4L60E. Kind of a weak transmission for a heavy vehicle with an LQ9 in front of it. They should have put a 4L80E in them from the factory IMO.
