Just like the title says, was the 2008 Hummer H2 built off the GMT800 series SUV (tahoe) chassis or is it a GMT900? More to come..............

2003

2008

I'd say GMT900 based on the dash. Can't you get the 6.2L in it now too?

From Wikipedia, so might not be accurate:

Engines:

2003–2007 6000 6.0 L (366 in³) V8
2008- 6200 6.2 L V8
Both the H2 SUV and SUT are being discontinued after the 2010 model year as GM is winding down the entire Hummer brand. Unlike the other full-size GM trucks and SUVs, the H2 remained on the GMT800 platform after 2007, but was given an interior facelift similar to the likings of the new-for-2007 GMT900 SUVs.

The 2008 Hummer H2's frame is based off a modified GMT800 3/4 ton chassis. Even the GMT900 3/4 and 1 tons are modified GMT800 chassis still. The 2011 GMT900 HD's will get a all new frame!

its basically a 2500ld front end with a modified 1500 tahoe/yukon rear (with 2500ld axle). the only one worth a damn is the 6.2/6l80e from recent years. GMT800.
