What type of oil?

Default What type of oil?

I got a 1990 Chevy 6.2 and Im not sure what brand of oil or type to use? Its says on my sunvisor to use a certain type unless where you live in goes below 0' C and it does goes below that around hear, yesterday it was around -25' C, so what oil should I use?

we use rotella synthetic in my dads duramax but it doesnt get near that cold here

it shows to gain about 1-1.5 mpg loaded towing so its worth something

we sell tons of shell rotella at work

everyone seems to love that stuff

just make sure it's a "c"class service rating not "s" class

your owners manual shuld tell you the other part of the service class CJ, CL or CM+4 etc. and so on

yeah thats the thing, the guy I bought the truck off of didnt have the owners manual therefor I dont have it either
