Default What wheel/tire setup to use?!

Ok so I've got an 03 SSS with a 4l80, currently on 22 TBSS wheels.. I need a racing wheel/tire setup that looks decent, I'll probably just have the painted black or preferably black when I get them. Does anyone have any links/suggestions? I thought black 17s with 4 drag radials, the truck will be turbo'd one day, just not right now. But the 22s aren't good for times haha. I saw a member on here with what looked like black 17s but I can't remember the name.. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!!

The stock Chevy 17" 5 star wheels are super light and are 7.5" wide so you can fit a 275/50/17 M&H drag radial pretty easy.

I would use a set of raceline wheels. These on a 18 inch drag radial look sick

I picked up a set of 17" centerlines that I coated black till I find the time to really clean and polish them up.

I am going to get some DR's for next summer

Yea now those look really good, though I'd prefer a glossy black, I'm really not going to be too picky considering they're strictly for racing you know.. where is a good place to get centerlines or should I just kinda look for some used ones?

The main problem with me and wheels are the fact that I want it to look good. I can't just throw on some cheap 17s I found at a scrap yard, I want some good looking wheels, I don't care if I only run them once a month, I want them to look good when they're on ya know? I just think the glossy black look would look real good on the truck at the strip, but I don't know what a good lightweight wheel would be if it bit me in the *** lol.

I mean you tell me, I'm fixing to buy recon smoked taillights and 3rd brake light pretty soon. The sun has destroyed my factory taillights :\
