What would do?
You have a late model NBS 4x4 ecsb. It's a 5.3 truck, can be any version of the 5.3 including the L33.
What route would you go for performance?
Budget is $7500 and thats for 2 years.
Truck is a DD so no radical 5.11 ratios or 4500 stalls.
Just a thread to generate ideas.

As if it was your vehicle and u were purchasing.
You are going to have to split the budget over two years also so keep that in mind.
Id say the same thing, just wondering what everyone would do. You don't have to spend it all just make a fun truck.

i say cam it an put an tbss intake on it and t/b all the bolts ons and get your self an 80e and stall and rest of the stufff for the 80e swap. trutrc and 4.30s and 150 shot of giggle gas and take rest of the money and buy beer

Also keep in mind wheels/tire combos and suspension not to mention braking upgrades too.

KB Racing Turbo kit
S475 or S480 turbo
turbo cam
4L80E w/3000 Stall
Eaton LSD in the rear end
Walbro 255 fuel pump or two of them
75 or 80# injectors
Water/meth injection
LS9 head gaskets and ARP Studs
EFI Live
And go blow some doors off, would be enough to get you into the mid 11s. And fun to drive everyday.
