I use a Snap-On 3/8" that is 0-150 in/lbs. That way I can just slip on a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter and use my 1/4 drive stuff on it too. This is the one I have:

Cheaper alternative is the old bar style you can pick those up all day long for 20-30 bucks.

with the pointer? those are actually some of the most accurate.
