Hi Guys,
I have contacted Weldcraft Wheels to widen a set of stock 16x7 wheels from the inside to 10 inches so this would be added to the backspace of the wheel. I want the wheel to tug behind the fender looking like a narrow axle. I need to know if the wheels would actually fit. I plan to run 1 inch or .5 inch spacers so it would set it just slightly wider on the outside than stock.
Do you guys know if this can be done or not?
Truck is a 2004 RCSB

Go put a strait edge/ square on the leaf springs, flat ground, measure to the inside of the back of the wheel face. That will give you how much you can add. Just remember that the tires is going to be even wider then the wheel it self

You will barely hit the leaf spring with your stock wheels widened to 10"

Depending on what type of tire you will run, you need to think about clearance for it also.

Your creeping up on 8.25" backspace with what you plan. That's tight. I run a 10" wheel with 7" backspace and have plenty of room, but another 1.5" backspace would make me worried.

Do proper measurements and then go with what you are comfortable with.

Nice, so the rim would fit, I'll have a 1-1.5 inch spacer to give it a meaner look and better grip

The wheel will NOT FIT without spacers, it contacts the leaf spring before the lug nuts can be fully tightened. A 9.5" would fit, but not 10". Im not looking to sell the wheels, sorry.
