Re: Wheels and drop??
I personally would put some 18s on it......Ofcourse, this all really depends on how picky you are on performance. If I had the money, i'd most likely invest in some Boyd Coddingtons or Centerlines.....18s....
As far as the drop...... I'd have to recommend going with a DJM 2/4......You are however looking at replacing the stock control arms and rear hangers and shackles. But my turning radius is the same, and no rubbing what so ever....handling is excellent.
I originaly would have gone with a 4/6, but living in the city, I still am glad I didn't, especially when I bottom out with a 2/4, which is rare.

Re: Wheels and drop??
Also, in the last Truckin' there was an Ultra Performance ad for a set of Centerline Corona's (I think) with some 265/50R20 Yokohama AVS' for only like 1695.00 ...

Re: Wheels and drop??
i cant decide really
the price of tires for 18s makes me want 20s, but i do want a fast truck....
could you guestimate how much 20s would slow me down over 18s in the 1/8th?
a tenth or 2 or what?

Re: Wheels and drop??
I did a 2/4 drop with springs front,shackles-hangers rear(Having trouble with rear end shift see my post) with 17x8" Eagle Alloy Style 213 wheels and BFG Long Trail TA P275/60 tires. They tires were cheap made the choice $180 wheel $90 tire. I would like bigger. The front rubs turning hard even not lowered but not bad. The front springs dropped the a-arms on the stock bumpstops but rode great <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> and did not change stock shock. When I lower again after waranty, I will use 1" springs and cut pas side to level truck. Big gas tank sinks driver side.
