Default Where to lift engine from?

Should I bolt into the heads somewhere? Can I reuse bolts that I pulled from somewhere else, like the accessory bracket, to attach the crane?

There are 4 bolt holes on the front and rear of the heads, used for attaching accessories. Use bolts long enough to tighten the chain against the head, I would not use the accessory drive bolts because they could break on you.

I used the bolt holes in the heads that are used for the accessories on the front and back side. I think bolts I needed was a 10mm with a 1.5 thread pattern and I got the one that was 30 long. Just take out an accessory bolt out of your engine, go to Lowes and find one that matches. The important part is that it threads all the way in so that the bracket is fulsh with the motor and head of the bolt.

OK thanks all - I took all the bracketry off the front of the engine so I'm sure I have plenty of bolts that I can borrow for the job.
