I wouldn’t say yours was the heaviest extended cab around when you made those passes, but you damn sure were doing it with a minimalist approach. A very basic combination that just plain worked.

Also, how did this conversation go from who has the quickest extended-cab and what does it take to do so, to worrying about whether someone had or didn’t have 4WD and whether or not they may have the extra weight of a tool box or stereo system. If the conversation was what it takes to move x-amount of pounds down the track in x-amount of time great, but part of what it takes to get these behemoths down the track quickly and reliably is cutting weight. It can be done by adding more power, but that never has been the best approach.

Best iv been in my 02 extended cab with 9# boost is 12.0 with a 1.8 60ft. I need a lot of work on my suspension and be able to leave on more than 2-3 # boost. I'm confident on my next outing ill be 11.5-11.8 range

weight reduction was passenger and rear seat along with the spare and tailgate. i really wish i would have had a chance to iron out the 408 and get it on the track with a healthy size shot. oh well!

i dont think my truck needs to be on the list now. it's retired with a completely stock drivetrain. id be lucky to hit a 14.9 1/4 now. just added helper bags so it can be the new tow truck for the s10, RZR and hopefully a boat soon.

Some very impressive stuff in here... I wish I was running these times. I'd love to see 11's in my crew cab. I have faith it'll happen... but it'll take time thats for sure.

On another note there are stock cube NA SSS's over on silveradoss.com that are running in the 12's pretty easily and one guy gunning for 11's.
