ur wife got a sister? So rare to find a woman who knows what she wants. Especially if what she wants, is what she should want!

I originally got my truck to two my race car. Thats how I justified getting a truck instead of something that I would "enjoy" driving more.

Im 6'8" and cant fit in a f-body. I SEROUSLY contemplated a SOM T/A. But I just cant fit. I have a 1970 GTO that is street legal, all motor, and close to a 9 second car. If you take out a 9 second, all motor, muscle car everyone knows its a 9 second muscle car, and your probably going to be the only person driving your 9 second muscle car on the street that night. Its impossible to get any kind of a good race going.

But a 13 second truck doesnt look much different then a 16 second truck and its a lot more fun.

I bought my truck to accomodate a new baby (Z06 + child seat = silly). I wasn't planning on touching it, but you see, it's red... and... Every red car I've ever owned ends up being ***** out. Every black car = bone stock... Go figure.

I guess it was when I was 12 and my fathers buddy took me for a ride in his blown 454ss ck1500 chevy. I thought that that thing was the ****. we pulled up to a stop light and he said watch this. Then he smoked the tires down the street. Right then I knew that thats what I wanted. And then when it was time to buy I wanted to be diffrent so I decided to get the 4.8 and see just how far I can take it.

I remember walking up to my truck at the dealer....not really looking at what it was then, but what I knew it would be in the future. Within about 6 months I had 90% of the aesthetic mods done, and the stereo. I remember when buying my 20s I had the option of 9.5" wide instead of 8". I said "I'll never go crazy with performance so 8's will be fine." Never would have imagined I'd be installing a nitrous system months after that, and then later a blower.

My current goal is 11s, but I know once I get there I wont be content. Theres just something about sport trucks that is so much cooler than a fast car.

I have a stock truck except for the free mods and a drop in K&N. I have to use the truck for work and my dad doesn't want me modding it because it has 164k miles on it. My plan is to drop a 408 in it when the 5.3 craps out and an 80E when the tranny goes.

I like having my truck because even though it is basically stock it still will run. I have damn 3.08 gears which pisses me but it will still beat all my friends cars. When one of my friends got a 95 Maxima another friend who has an Eclipse which I beat was like dude that Maxima will take you it is fast. I figured it would to, but I beat it. You definitly get more "holy ****"s when you beat something in a truck. A truck can do so much crap. Haul anything, fit a lot of people in. It also looks damn good when you clean it up nice. Whoever said they like working on there trucks I am in total agreement. I like just cleaning the intake, changing oil anything that helps the truck out.

I can't wait to drop a 408 stroker in that truck. It will haul so much ***. I will defintly have the fastest car or truck in the area. I know that it won't stop there though because it is an addiction. It is hard for me not to mod the crap out of my truck but I know I have to save for a house. Self control is a bitch sometimes.

racing was in mind when I bought mine.
but I couldnt pass up the deal they offered me, so I run with what I was delt.
It runs pretty good for being a small motor.
but hey, who the hell would think that this truck would run 13's???????
NOT VERY MANY PEOPLE!
and they are slowly finding out
