Hennessey runs a shady operation, I would avoid him completely based on his previous history. Go ask on the Viper forums how his reputation is, but wear your flame suit.

It'll take more than just bolting on a radix to an SS to beat a SRT.

The Viper forums despise him. He has scammed many customers, go do a search if you are curious.

I think it's an allright buy for what you're getting. You have to be into that sort of thing though, too. I imagine it'd cost a lot more than 47k to do a V10 swap and set the truck up like that. And to have a factory waranty with it?

I think it's a cool truck, but not my bag of chips.

Those Viper motors are a ton of fun though. I took a class down at the Skip Barber Racing School a few years back. One of the exercises had us in Vipers on a small kidney track. It was basically a throttle control exercise. Those things pull like big electric motors. Smooth as glass. You could hang the rear end out to any degree you wanted, and hold it there, just with your right foot. The nasty cackle that GTS had at idle really burned that impression into me...

I love the Viper Sound and they Say the SRT Keeps that Sound......I guess if ya look at it like that then it makes Sense...... but i Dont need 22s or all that Painted body molding but i Guess that what makes the Truck look so good. Its not my Bag of Chips eather. But if ya got the money and a gas card it would be one hell of Daily Driver if ya kind drive it......

Anyone know the cam specs on a Viper motor?

The one I remember distinctly, sounded like a WW2 figher plane at idle.

I saw one on the freeway today. It was silver and looked ok, but they seem ill-proportioned to me. It does have a lot of power though, pulls pretty darn good from a roll.

I snapped some pics of it too if anyone wants to see em.
