Default Window Motor and cable replacement

My cable broke on the drivers side window motor. I am going to get a new setup and already have the old one out. Is there a write up that shows how to install the new one. I don't know where the new cable needs to go and how to route it. I searched but came up empty handed. Thanks.

I have heard if the cable is damaged, you need to replace the window regulator too.

I just replaced my window motor, but I can't remember how the cable is routed. GL

They're easy to do. The cables form an "X". Undo a few small bolts after removing seal. Support window @ top w/ suction cups or have another person.
P/N 19120846 is the regulator only. Your motor may still be ok. If so, transfer it to new regulator. Reinstall & reverse procedure to get to that point. Done

From other research that I have done I guess I will be replacing both, like you said Sleek Silverado. Thanks for the help so far. I just have to order the parts now.

I did both regulators on my truck, but not motors. The motor is pretty expensive from what I understand. I've also read that you should stay away from ebay regulators, as they're prone to failure at an early age. The GM regulator isn't cheap, but it should last alot longer than an aftermarket one.

I've done both sides on my bro's 02 Silvy. The best medicine is not to roll down in real cold. Window sticks, snaps weak cable.
Now that I've done his, I'd also lube inside there w/ some lube to extend life. I wish I'd done that when I was inside my doors puttin on my handles. But I did my handles way before.
