Default Which wire do you tap for E-fan wiring harness?

Ive had my ls1 fans and nelson harness in since the swap 2 years ago..the fans work fine, but they dont come on high..i noticed i never had a clip for the wire that crimps on to the stock harness. It was a used harness and I didnt know about it until today. It gets hot with the AC on and its a pain in the *** since the fans dont come on high like they should...do you clamp the dark green, light green, or green with a stripe? I know nelson says light green or green with a stripe, but im just wondering what everyone else did and what works..its a nbs tahoe...thanks

From what I have read, the wire could be green or green w/stripe.

Just see which one your truck has going to the AC compressor and that's the one. I have the same fan and harness setup and even with the heat wave we had for the last couple weeks, and my AC blasting, the truck never went over 195 degrees...idling in traffic or whatever.

Wire is at front of driver's side head...Mine was solid green, but some have a stripe.

Do you have a 12 volt testlight?

If so, it'd be a lot easier to be sure which one it is, as it'd be the one that has voltage when AC compressor is turned on...Damn, having 3 different green wires sucks, lol.

I tied mine in at the AC compressor relay under the fusebox. To this wire.
