I added an HD front pumper pad, relocated the battery to under the bed and put a "Big Boy" (5" .125 wall aluminum) driveshaft in it. Then it went to the dyno.

That's 580,000 miles of GMT800 rolling stock right there ~310 on truck, 270 on Sub.

Made ~453 RWHP up to 7500, and it was breaking up at the top end. Alternator's don't like 7500 rpm.

Upgraded battery to a 14v battery and an adjustable regulator alternator set to 16.8v with the appropriate pully to not overspeed the alternator. The truck electronics don't seem to mind the high voltage so much. Every once in a while I get a service charging system error.

Oil pressure on this motor was not what I expected it to be. Tried several oil pumps. Turned out to be the vacuum pump keeping all of the oil at the top of the engine at high RPM. Replumbed the vacuum pump several times and finally (as I type this) I have it all figured out.

When it came time for the HPRT in June of '23 it was painfully obvious that my wagon was not going to make it. So we packed up the truck and left for Atlanta.

Truck did fine until it got into rush hour traffic leaving Columbia, SC on the second day. Then the dreaded "Reduced Engine Power", would plague me all week, but the truck finished the Tour as a Long Hauler.

Swapped to a cable throttle body and a P59 ECU that supports IAC. The REP was keeping me from trying the nitrous as I couldn't have the throttle close while I was WOT and on the gas.

Truck got put on back burner a little bit so I could finish my wagon (was going on the power tour come hell or high water). Finished the wagon, and then the day before the power tour, the torque converter came apart in the wagon and took out the transmission. So about 10 hours to go before we left, I did an oil change, pre trip inspection and away the truck went on it's second power tour.

Only issue this year on the tour was a couple burned plug wires, coolant temperature sensor and it beat the bushing out of the tailhousing in the 4L80.

Got the thing back on the scales, finished the nitrous install after the tour and finally, finally hit my ET goal.

Not bad - it weighs ~4610 with me in it and 3/8 or so of a tank of fuel. I still use it as a truck for trips to the hardware store/dump/picking up parts. 323,xxx miles at this point.

Added a progressive nitrous controller and going to bigger pills to see if it will go 10.99.

Some more pictures of interior (my custom headliner)I forgot to put in above:
