ok fellas, this isn't truck related at all. but it belongs here since i post here and i call this my home on the net. So Greg and others please allow it to stay!

my son is undergoing open heart surgery on friday to close a hole in his heart and to repair a valve. The procedure will last approximatly 6 hours. From what we know, the leading heart surgeon in the U.S. for children will be performing the operation. we do our preop on thursday at Childrens Hospital in New Orleans where the surgery will be also. if you can, please say a silent prayer that everything works out for him and us. he is almost 5 months old. he has down syndrome and this is what 50% of children with DS go through! My wife and I have been dreading this day since we recieved the news of him having a heart problem.

I really hope the best for you and your son. It is good in a way I guess that he is only 5months old going through this. It would make me on edge just a little bit if I understood what was happening to me.
