Default Would you guys run adapters on your truck?

Alright reason I ask is because I been wanting a nice "track pac" setup but since I'm so picky I couldnt find one until now. I'm looking at the Weld Racing RT-S wheels but they are only available in a 5 lug. Now I have found adapters to go from my 6 lug to a 5 lug but there 2 inches thick and aluminum (billet). Would you guys trust an adapter in my case? Wheel setup will be 20x9.5 inch RT-S front and back with Nitto 420s 305/50R20 front and back (4wd) with the black face. Here is a pic of the wheels...

I was wondering about spacers as well and was told that it would be a weak link. I wanted to go with tbss 20's. Hopefully someone will chime in with some experience on this issue. Oh yeah those are some nice wheels though. Why not convert over to the 5 lug instead of useing spacers?

You need at least a 1.5" spacer to clear the normal lugs...

That's one thing I don't want to mess with at all. I would rather run an adapter then change to a five lug.

Some tracks don't allow the use of spacers/ adapters, thats one thing you'll probably want to check. I converted my truck to 5 lug and narrowed the rear 4.5"s which allows me to run 2" adapters to run my 6 lug street wheels if I choose to. Downside is I also have to change the front hubs too from the 5 lug to the 6 lug pair.

I don't think the adapters would be a problem. My question would be: do those wheels come with a custom backspacing? Otherwise, you could have fitment issues.

I run 2in and 2.5in spacers on my S10 to run Z06 wheels (same bolt pattern, just have to have them spaced out so they dont sit on the frame)

Yeah that was one of the things I checked. The wheels are made to order and can be setup any way you want but only in a 5 lug.
