Default WTF is with the new caddy??

what is with the new cadillac xlr. i thought it was suppost to be like the corvet of the cadillac. the damn thing only has a 4.6 in it. werent they suppost to come out with a car with the alum. 6.0 in it or something. or are there two diffrent cars? http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/....jsp?model=xlr

I think the main reason it ended up the way it did is because GM didnt want a cadillac to be faster than the C5. I bet it gets a better motor option when the C6 comes out. Probably an option for the manual tranny as well

There pretty pricey $76,200 starting price.I like the looks of them.I would still take a vett over it.

I think its got a lot of nice options, and it does look good, but not for $76,000. I agree about GM not wanting it to be faster than the C5, thats why we don't have the RC SS Silverado yet.

CTS-V LS6,400hp,13.1@107 1/4 mile.They should have put an LS6 in the XLRBut it would probley be faster then the C5.It's still a nice car.

ya those caddies are really nice.... at least cadillac is still trying to keep the cadillac style in their new products.

I like the new Caddies. They are supposed to get a supercharger in the future. Wouldn't buy one over a Vette though.
