well the BIG cam im running needs a 3600+ converter to make it move. the 4:10s with the 6spd helps me a lot. i love the way it doesnt lug around anymore, plus how it doesnt take 2200 rpms to make it move. i part throttle this thing all day and i never get annoyed with the cam until its time to stop. stupid vac brakes lol

228/236 .588.601 112+2 or something like that. i cant remember the intake lift right off hand. its a shock that the L92 didnt get a bigger split, but my next cam will be on a 114-116 and it will have a bigger split if thats what Geoff @ EPS wants it to have. yes i will stay with a STOCK stall, i love the way the gears are so close so no real need for a looser converter. i may go up to 3:73s but it wont be anytime soon since im buying a house this year. my "Move in gift" to myself is going to be a 73" TV

Thanks for directing me to this thread niff, very informative. This is definately the next project I'm going to undertake. I've got my eye on one from a 2008 2500 in a local junkyard with only 8000 miles on it. Since I've got a 6.0 in mine do you think it would be best to try and grab everything that is salvagable off the donor vehicle? Dipstick tube, flywheel, converter, harness, etc...
