shii buddy i couldnt have picked this heavy tranny up and got it under the truck alone! the 60e is crap an i wouldnt have minded dragging it out but that 6spd is taller, heavier than the 60e. i have a feeling it wont 60' very well but it'll have some MPH plus be a crazy roll racer! you can drive it when its done, you didnt have to ask lol

GMCtruck, im trying to get it finished asap so you all know exactly whats needed and how it performs.

well, i got the tranny installed. as for the transmission mount, all i did was flip it and mark where to drill a new hole. pretty simple. only thing left to do:

install new cooler lines
install starter
Y pipe
swap U-joints and refit the 2 peice if need be
im still waiting on my Shifter bracket, and Transmission dipstick
then its time for a Retune

Good deal man. Almost there. If u have to cut any for the D-Shaft, that will be simple being the groves r all the way down the snout of the slip yoke. U'll be joy riding in no time: )

Yea I agree cuz once u cut the slip yoke, then u gotta file down the end of each groove.

I can't wait for it to be finished too. I'm sure it will be done by the time I get back.
