I have duralast gold and have changed out the factory cable ends for brass.

Do you have a cap for the stereo? If not, you need one to take the amperage hit from the amp.

Interesting. I think they're made by Johnston controls.

I hope thats within ballpark. I do 99% highway @70-75 around 2200-2450 rpms so it should be fully charging/charged. My truck has like 6 fuses in the instrument panel lol. No power windows or locks. It has a 300 watt rms orion amp and a 50x4 watt rms alpine amp so I dont think thats even touching the battery while driving. The duracell seems to be mentioned a couple of times. Ill check for a draw but ive searched and these things just suck alotta juice. My dads 03 has only had 2 batteries in the last 10 yrs mines had 3 in 3 yrs lol.

Our trucks are same year with just about same milage lol.

I killed the battery today at work today. Was listening to my radio while I vacuumed the carpets, ten minutes went by went to crank it and click click click. I can usually go for about 30 to 40 minutes at a decent volume but not anymore. Oh well gotta find one before this one leaves me stranded.

THere are very few battery manufactuers left. Same batteries at most places named with different stickers or colors. Best battery I own is a yellow evertsart MAXX bought about 7 years ago. Its been in race cars, derby cars, boats, trucks, even a tractor.

Factory delcos are awesome, the aftermarket ones aren't made in America like the factory ones. I'm an interstate salesman and ill warranty that **** if its bad lol. Our batteries are hard to beat and just came out with the gel batteries that are like an optima just not spiral wound so they have more surface area and 4 year free replacement. They're made for high drain vehicles like cop cars and ambulances.
