a little observation... it does it every 33 seconds. or 30 seconds just about exactly from the time it stops to the time it starts again. could be coincidence or something else.

It exactly happened to me last year. I thought it was fuel pump. Found it was bad crank sensor. You need replace crank sensor. Where under by starter. You will have to remove the starter and replace the crank sense. It sounds like sanmme problem issue with my truck before. Let me know

Have you checked the fuel pressure regulator? I see these a lot for leaking into the vacuum hose. Check the relay in the fuse box for any corrosion on the terminals.

Can u explain how the crank sensor would make the fuel pressure swing like that?

I doubt that it was a crank sensor, it's new

it's a returnless, so there's no regulator on the fuel rail, unless there's a vacuum hose going to the tank that I didn't see
relay terminals are all good

kinda wondered the same thing, but I'm open to ideas, but not for replacing random parts

only other issue that he's having is with the battery keeping a charge if it sits for 3-4 days with out being driven, but I think that it's the amp on the radio.

Don't know what it is, but it makes me want to put one of those NX stand-alone Nitrous fuel systems on my truck all the more now! What's interesting is that the fuel is spiking, nearly up to 80psi. My simple mind says must be a fuel regulator problem, but with these trucks, you never know. Maybe, could be, even the tire pressure????

that's why you get a controler . . . on/off only at certain fuel pressures.
