07 Silvy factory remote start issues...
My keyless and remote start has always worked great but lately it's had an issue. The truck started a few days ago with the remote and shut off a second later and since then the remote start doesn't function at all. Keyless still works but remote start pretty much went kaput. Anybody had issues like this... thanks

I've got an aftermarket remote start on my truck, and there are a couple of things that they have in common, neither will start if certain sensors are tripped. The main ones that I could think of off the top of my head are the hood, neutral position sensor, and the central fuse. Also, check and see if the remote is malfunctioning (if you have two remotes). It's not much, but you could try those couple of things.
Also, is the remote a 2-way? If so, any error messages?

Scan your ECM for any stored DTC's.
My remote start was fouled up after I installed my ARH headers and catted Y due to the ARH high-flow cats setting P0420 and P0430 codes. Once I had those "tuned out", no more remote start issues! Apparently the OEM ECM calibration inhibits remote start capability if any ECM DTC's are stored.

I've had an issue a couple times with mine where I hit the remote start and it just turns over constantly, like no fuel is getting to the engine. I had to stop the remote start attemp and get inside and key start it like normal and it starts fine.
I'm thinking it may be a kill switch issue on mine, there were no codes and my truck is still basically stock for the most part. It came with a kill switch that is from the dealership that is operated by the factory remote.

My remote start in my 07 NBS hasn`t worked in a year. It`s been repaired several times and still isn`t correct. It is a factory unit, may get it looked at if I take it in for anything else since I`ve still got warranty left.

If it turns over, cranks, then immediately dies, then the factory theft prevention system is causing the problem. The factory immobilizer cuts off fuel supply at the rails. If it won't turn over at all, then I don't know what to tell you.
