Default 07 VMAX oil cooler line replacement

Hello all,
As is common, my original oil cooler lines are leaking. I have a replacement set (GM) and have read the write up regarding pulling the front driveshaft, skid pan(s) etc and not having to undo the motor mount or diff. This was for a pre-NNBS truck so I was wondering if it's essentially the same for mine (07 NNBS VMAX 4x4)?

Also, does the oil have to be drained first? I would think most would be in the pan but I don't want to drain all my oil as soon as I pull the cooler line block...if oil needs to be empty I'll wait since I just changed it about 500 miles ago (don't want to waste it with what they get for synthetic...)

Thanks!

Should be very similar and no you do not have to drain the oil.
