I never had any problems at 4/7 or 5/7, these trucks sit so high a 4/7 is like a 2/4 on 99-06

Sorry guys, not to start a discussion or argument but I do have rubbing both on a 3/6 and 4/7 with stock backspacing wheels and 275/50/20's. Mostly on the back of the front fender skirt, some on the top and a few times in the rear wells (loaded). I do have vibration issues and I've got the DJM adjustable flip kit, have gone through everything from -6 degrees to +6 degrees but 0 seems to be the best with a slight wobble at 60mph. I've also come to the conclusion that these trucks ride so much better with a little bit of rake, seems to affect the handling when they're level or cali in the back. Just don't want you to think WTF? after it's all done. They're minor annoyances and I'm picky but you should know what to expect, plus you asked.

Definitely do the MCG helper bags, very nice product and an easy install.

That's hard to believe with you rubbing up front with a 3" drop and 275/50's. I rubbed the top of the inner fenders constantly when the truck was at a 5" front drop and 275/55's, but once I raised it to 4" it rarely rubbed(only on big bumps). I dented my rear wheel tubs from the tires hitting, but that was only with a load in the bed before the helper bags were installed. With the OP having a single cab I think he'll be better off than my crew cab's extra weight.

At 3" it rubs the back of the fender skirt when I enter the driveway or make hard rights into a parking spot or something. He'll probably be good, my truck seems to be a freak

Well the kits on. It rides nice or ok I guess. Haven't riden in any other lowered trucks to compare it to so..... Doesn't seem to be rubbing and the rear end hasn't bottomed out yet and I drove some pretty shitty roads today. I am going to go with 285/50/20's soon instead of the 275/55's I think the 55's look a little tail but not to bad. Its a little lower than I thought it would be but looks freakin great! I am going to wash it tomorrow and post some pics. Thanks for all the input guys

Unless they have new shocks for 2010, don't use the Mcgaughy's shocks, they ride like ***! Get some Monroe MA743 airshocks (they are for 88' Chevy but are short and will work), and air them up to about 60 psi and call it a day.

Here it is guys. Only had time to give it a quick once over. Only thing killing it is the silly looking 275/55/20's but it will have to do for now.
