Can you get the new 6sp in the extended cab 5.3s? I would be more out to get the better tranny and take whatever cab it comes with.

In 2005 I shopped the Extended cab supper short beds, just couldn't find one in my price range... I think if you are even considering a larger cab you will want the larger cab. I find the selling point isn't the extra space but being able to recline the passenger seat!

Are they offering the 6.2L in the EC? I thought they weren't yet.

nope. I don't see that happening unless they offer a "performance" version of a truck.

So I have my RCSB my sig states my mods. My buddy has a 08 max GFX with the 6L all that is done for mods is Exhaust. We are pretty much even in stock trim but with my exhaust and programmer, by the end of the 1/4 I pull about 2-3 lengths on him. I also get about 2-4 mpg more then him at about 65mph. I have also had no issues getting around in the winter. All I did was pick up a set of pirelli winter tires.

I just looked up Bonnyville, Alberta and you definitely far north of MI! I have always ran snow tires on my cars, but have never really heard of many people running them on trucks. It makes since though, a RWD car is 1,000 times better in the winter with snows, a truck should be too.
