08 RCSB 4x4 VS. 08 ECSB 4x4

I just looked up Bonnyville, Alberta and you definitely far north of MI! I have always ran snow tires on my cars, but have never really heard of many people running them on trucks. It makes since though, a RWD car is 1,000 times better in the winter with snows, a truck should be too.
Definately makes a huge difference. Throw some winter grippers on there and 4 sand bags in the box and you will have no issues with going were ya need to go especially in MI.

It has the 5.3, can seat 4, comes with leather, and is still lighter than a RCSB 2wd...

I am married with three kids so there is no way that I would...or could get an RCSB, especially to race around..I would just get a quick car. I use to have a RCSB and drove my dads ECSB a few years back to go hunting because my in laws :-( were using my truck for something. I came home and was immediately sold on an ECSB due to the extra room inside. Now for the engine, I currently have an 07 Sierra 4x4 ECSB with the 6.0 4 speed (MAX) and 3.73 gears with an intake and Blackbear tune. I get about 12-14 city and about 18-19 highway at 65. The new 6 speeds should be even better. I have never run my truck at the track, but can tell you that it is faster than my brothers brand new Malibu LTZ which supposedly runs 14.6-14.7??? I would say I hit the quarter at about 93-94 miles per hour...not really sure what time that would be since it's been a while since I've been at the track? As far as the Canyon, I think you will disappointed in the room inside and the overall feel of the interior...just my opinion.
