Default 08 Sierra Denali 6.2 !!!! comp 401 or 402 cam !!

Ok I have an opportunity to have a cam installed in my 08 GMC truck, and I have to make a decision by Tuesday morning as they start the work on Tusday morning. I am putting a set of milled .030 L92 stock heads with a set of PSI beehive springs, and I have purchased a vararam, intake, as well as a set of headers. I have no intent on a converter right now or gear change, maybe a different exhuast, but I like the tone of the stock denali exhaust, and I know it will get deeper with the headers.
SO NOW THE QUESTION:
I purchased 2 cams; comp 156-401-13 and comp 156-402-13; and only did that because I could not decide on which one, so I will send the one not chosen back, but which one do you guys think for my bolt on truck.

I will also be getting it tuned, for those who were wandering, however I do not know who will be the tuner as of yet, probably PCMFORLESS.

Thanks for your help,

Anyone have any knowledge as to how this cam works with a stock converter, and how docile it is on the street, maybe with a T/A on a car trailer? That is the only reason I am between the two!!

I did the same thing and bought two cams. But, I have the 402 and 403. I am going with the 402. I would like to see some video of these cams at idle to get an idea of how they idle. The intake side is not huge, so you would expect a decent idle. But, the exhaust is much bigger, and I'm not sure which effects idle characteristics more. I would expect it is more of a combination and the overlap, in which case the 402 would act similiar to 225/225. But, truely have no idea.

Yes it is in there right now, and I told them to install the smaller camshaft, with the Cylinder heads, phaser, and comp pushrods. I guess I will be the first to post some video of how the smaller camshaft sounds.
THey start work on it tomorrow. Wish me luck.
