Black Bear Performance tune!

I went for the AutoCal tune from Black Bear. I bought the AutoCal from him and first used it to log about 20 minutes of driving. I emailed that log file to Justin and got a tune back by email. I used the AutoCal to install that, then logged another driving session. It took a couple back and forth emails like that to get it really dialed in but I've been totally happy ever since - almost three years. If I ever decide to put other bolt-on parts on it, the re-tune is free. The truck runs hard and shifts great, exactly how I asked for it.

If you got the patience you can teach yourself how to tune with HPTuners or EFILive. Its best to learn how on a stock truck like yours. Its one of the best things i ever did.

 

Good point. I've always wanted to do that. I've enlisted Lew from Diablew to write me a tune after all his great reveiw's. If I get more into this I might write my own tunes but I think thats too advanced for me at this point!
