I really want to lower my truck , but i cant afford for it to void my power train warranty. What exactly would it affect?

Legally no. Read up on the Magnuson-Moss Act

If something goes wrong, just throw the stock parts back on for warranty reasons IMO

they have to prove its your lowering kit that caused it.
my truck has pacesetter LTs, OR-y pipe, a Circle D stall, Billet servos, CAI an a Truckshop tune an its in the shop right now for a rear seal leaking, again!

no, it will not void the warranty, as stated above... it has to have a direct affect and be proven that the drop itself is causing the issues.

no it will not void the power train warranty. they probably wont cover any suspension related issues, well that is what the tech told me last time i went.

like other ppl said , it shouldent void anything , but gm is hurting for money and they will try and save money and not fix things if they can

like say if your d shaft blows ... they will say that you lowerd the truck and that the drop changed the pinion angle and thats what caused teh shaft to snap ....and thats your fault and they wont fix it ...

u get me
