Default 09 Silverado LTZ 6.2l header, tune and exhaust choices

Went with the silverado CC 6.2L over the denali as the GMC salesman was just being a dick(trading in an 891 mile Saturn Sky and they kept insisting on seeing it before they gave me a # It has 800 miles and stored in heated garage lol.Chevy dealer did it with no problems and guess who got my $40k)
Anyways Now I would like to get a few things for it.
Tune-I've always heard great things about Westors but haven't seen anyone on here with it yet.Are there better ones out there
Exhaust- open to anything.I have 3.5" Corsas on the silvy I'm trading in and loved them.Maybe a tad too loud but don'treally mind.
Headers- Don't know too much about them so please advise.

All in all I'd like to get them once I get the truck so some suggestions please

Sounds like you met the ***** that I first spoke to when I was looking for a Denali. I told him that people like him are the reason why GM was going out of business, and then hung up in his face.
For headers, I would go with ARH, because they are the best looking, best performing and fitting headers I've ever seen. Just installed a set on my AWD Denali yesterday and I love them. Definitely louder, though, but I don't mind that at all. These engines really need something better than those crappy 1960's-style tiny-*** manifolds that GM puts on the 6.2 anyways, IMHO.
If your Silverado cvomes with the same exhaust as the Denali, I wouldn't change it because it's alrady a nice 3.5 " pipe and has a nice growl even bone stock.
For a tune, I would use Wheatley. He seems to know what to do to wake these trucks up!
just my 2 cents.....

I just bought my new Sierra 6.2 4x4. Currently at 350 miles. I'm also looking into the same stuff. In my old silvy, I had the dynatech headers and loved them too. Not sure if I'll go with them again because I've never tried any others. I might also look into ARH.

If you could have it tuned, go with Weathley or Blackbear
ARH Headers
Exhaust is really going to be up to your budget and taste.
Corsa shows most gains, but is pricey and some don't like the sound.
I have a borla on mine, it's not too loud and helped out.
A lot of people love Magna flow

I'm hearing you can't put exhaust or a CAI on the 09 6.2L as GM has it rigged up some way

What they changed is the MAF for the CAI's Volant already has a new kit out with the Powercore filters too. It's Badass. Exhaust is no biggie. The Factory exhaust is plenty big. Budget guys just go get a DYNAMAX Welded Ultra Flow. $250 Installed Tops. Really nice muffler. On my 5.3L no drone, WOT she sounds awesome. Have used them numerous times on all sorts of motors. 600hp 427 Still sounds nasty!

FYI - Westers Tune's (Lyndon Wester, 888-WESTER1) Is a stand up guy and does great tunes. He does Mileage/Performance tunes. Buddy picked up 2MPG and feels solid too. Dealt with him for years and have no complants

You know, if people would have ever worked in sales before they would understand why someone would want to see something before they gave you an offer. I mean do you go out and buy cars and houses sight unseen. Thats just retarded. Whats so hard about bringing the vehicle that you have to trade?
