09 up 6.2 Kooks guys come in

Well actually, $2350 was for Kooks headers and their true duals. Just to update, I took my truck to an exhaust shop today. They cut about 4.5" off and was then able to compress the flex joint enough to hook up to the factory catback. It was definately a fun trip there. I'm glad I didnt see any cops. LOL. Its a shame to spend this kind of money and then have to go to the exhaust shop to finish up. If I could do this over again I would definitely go with the ARH system. Oh well. Its all a memory now. If there one thing I've learned through this its stick with the vendors you can trust. Don't buy on price alone.

This is the part # to my y pipe I received a few weeks ago, it looks like coban's, short style:
It is a 3.5" outlet, but like ramairroughneck's it is actually a 3" pipe that just opens up to 3.5" for about an inch or so at the flange. Interestingly, inlet pipe for my Corsa catback is exactly the same. It is a 3" pipe but just bells out to 3.5" for a bit at the flange.

Same reason for me as well. I since have learned the issues were with the 2007-08 trucks and not the newer ones.

Did you receive 02 extensions with your headers and y-pipe? I didn't, hope I won't need them because I am past the "2 week inspection period" from the vendor I ordered from.
