There's a good chance you'll be ok with the sniffer considering you're pretty much stock except for long tubes.

They just put out a new regulation on it. The exhaust can't come out in front of the rear tire, no leaks, and has to be less than 90db. My exhaust is pretty docile, so I think I will be fine. No sniffer...

Well, my install is done.

6" of the Y-pipe had to be removed just like ramairroughneck. The sound is exactly what I was going for though, at idle and cruise it basically sounds stock but if you stab it the headers and Corsa come to life.

Exactly the same as mine. Though I do believe the 14"x10" Magnaflow muffler is excessive, as in size. I have always owned loud vehicles, but this truck sounds very good, then when you hit it it gets much louder. How big are(is) the muffler(s) in the Corsa system?

I'm impressed with the Kooks headers. Plenty of clearance all aroudn, fit in easily from the bottom without taking off the front driveshaft or anything else for that matter. They have a merge spike too. Can't wait to get my gears installed now so I can get this thing tuned and see what it can do. I honestly do feel a SOTP difference already even though it is not tuned yet.

Huge, nearly as big as the factory muffler. Looking through it though was kind of an eye opener. It was basically straight-through, with only about 6 small openings into the baffles. I would think it would be louder.

I hear good things about the Corsa. Mine is actually a blessing in disguise. I will be going to Germany soon, and will be taking the truck. The exhaust at idle can't be above 90db, otherwise I fail the inspection.

The header flanges, collector ball flanges, and the factory catback connection are leak free but I have a ongoing problem with the slip fit connection on the ypipe. I have varied the tightness on that connection but just cant get it to seal. I am thinking the only answer is to have it welded up. It is fully slid together and tight. Do you guys have any tips?
