If you are using a Torca clamp, they should only be tighetened to 45 lb/ft. If you've done more than that, or haven't used a torque wrench, you may have deformed the joint.

Ended up seperating the pipes, coating them in high temp copper sealent and then reclamping them together. Fingers crossed.
