Default Almost 100rwHp from Texas Speed and Performance Stage 3 VVT CAM for 6.2L/L99

Texas Speed and Performance 6.2L Stage 3 VVT CAM

This dyno is from the 1st link below...6.2L/L99 A6 Camaro full bolt-on after a TSP phase 3 VVT CAM swap, I see close to 100rwHp @ 6,250rpm from a bumpstick swap. Texas Speed and Performance takes care of VVT tuning by sending updated CAM Phaser tables with each of their VVT CAM's (see bottom link)...Crazy huh? Just think with ported heads...

im curious to see the vvt tables. it seems only a few people actually understand them. others are completely off base.

I hear ya, it's all in the tune to get these VVT CAM's working right...MAST and COMP don't offer calibrations for their VVT CAM's...this is pretty cool!

i now have to get someone with a tsp cam to send me the vvt files

i honestly can't afford 6 hours on the dyno to mess with the vvt tables.

Un-freaking real!

Still considering a cam change on mine, but I'll let Pat G spec mine.

The benefit of a vvt cam is a better idle and low to mid torque as the cam is retarded. That said the average horsepower should be slightly better keeping the vvt. Granted, the vvt couldnt make more topend but I dont see how it would be less. When you say you made more power does that mean you have had both a aftermarket vvt cam as well as a conventional cam? If they feature the same amount of overlap could you please post some dyno sheets.

my cam actually had very good driveability .cause i had a good tuner, this was with the converter unlocked thats why it doesnt read till 4.25+

my power peaked at a very tad lower rpm but carried it all the way out. i suspected i was running out of intake and injector
