Default 11sec awd denali? wouldnt that be fun?

soo im day dreaming and it got me thinking how hard would it really be? im just in my head compairing my old silverado SS with a 2.9 pulleyed 112 maggie with a cam 6.0 with a 4l65 mild converter, 5400lbs went 12.300 at 111mph with a 1.67 60ft

sooo compaired to a 6.2 theres 60hp right off the bat and a 6speed but alil more weight at 5680lbs?

what really got me thinking about it was all this cam talk going on..and looking at BAD *** VHO setup so he says its just a bolt on cam/converter truck im assuming a BIG cam but its suppost to run 12.4s or faster ?? altho he is 2wd vs awd...

so im guessing it would be pretty hard to get an awd truck down in to that range with the same type of setup with the weight of an awd

anyways just thought it would be a fun debate..who knows what might come of it

Bad *** vho has the simple bolt ons, an its not a donkey cam

3000-3200 converter, sticky tires, nitrous/turbo/supercharger will get you where you want depending boost/shot size

im actually suprized to hear that..i assumed that truck had to have a donkey cam lol to run that hard like a vvt3 or something custom and bigger..guess being 2wd problem helps... i dont need sticky tires im awd lol

but a donkey cam and some 456 gears could be fun too gotta get these things out of the hole one way or the other..the 2.0+ 60fts aint gonna cut it..not when im used to 1.6s lol

Doubt I'll be 11.999 or close, but I am planning to go back to the track tomorrow night for a few passes. With the colder weather leately I have been seeing around 9 to 9.4 psi of boost before everything heats up from driving.

My last runs got me to a 12.8 just hot lapping the truck working on the tune. I will likely be back with the same tune tomorrow night and just everything being a little cooler. Would like to hope for mid 12's.
